Melissa Levy presented a workshop titled Strategic Planning, Measurement and Evaluation Using “You Get What You Measure®” at the 2014 Connecticut Land Conservation Conference. You Get What You Measure® is a facilitated, values-based strategic planning and evaluation process that directs action toward measurable goals. The process of identifying indicators and developing measures of progress is a powerful tool for personal and organizational development and a key to reflection and learning. In this workshop participants chose roles and actually experienced the process as stakeholders. The process took participants from sharing values to writing goals, developing indicators of progress toward the goal, analyzing the indicators in a systems context, and developing measures.
