2nd WealthWorks Training Held

Our second WealthWorks Training for Coaches and Coordinators was held in April at Pendle Hill Retreat Center in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Shanna, Barbara Wyckoff and I facilitated the 4 day onsite part of the training. Our full class of 21 people hailed from Alaska, Oregon, Ohio, Idaho, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, and Washington, DC and included several teams of National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) members, as well as NADO staff members. This class has now begun their practicum. Sectors they will be working on include tourism, wine tourism, craft beverage tourism, marine ship building/repair, manufacturing, local food and agriculture, and forestry.

Planning begins now for our October session of the WealthWorks Training. The onsite portion will be held at Pendle Hill again on October 19-22. A few seats are already taken, so if you’re interested or know people who might be, send them our way. An October brochure and application are on our website.
