Melissa Levy presented a workshop, “Increasing Your Organization’s Impact through Collaboration,” as part of the DASH-NY Coalition Conference on March 19, 2015 in Albany, NY. This workshop on collaboration was an interactive, highly participatory workshop, illustrating how collaboration fits into a collaboration continuum. The workshop discussed when collaboration makes sense and when it does not, incentives and disincentives to collaborate, how to prepare for collaboration, mechanics of collaboration, and more. Participants had an opportunity to reflect on their own experiences along the collaboration continuum and explore whether and with whom collaboration might make sense for their organizations.
